CRS Rice Bowl 2022

  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Priests and deacons, parish/mission/school staff, social ministry leaders, directors of Faith Formation, youth ministers, campus ministers and bulletin editors
From: Jayna Hoffacker, associate director of Justice and Peace Ministries

Through CRS Rice Bowl, we share the journey with members of our human family around the world and commit our Lenten prayers, fasting and almsgiving to deepening our faith and serving those in need.

We would like to encourage parishes and schools to make use of the online community giving platform to allow you to fundraise within your community without needing to gather anyone to distribute Rice Bowls or to conduct a count at the end of Lent. With this platform, you can customize your own parish or school page and allow your ministries, clubs and families form teams to track their Lenten almsgiving.

As always, the CRS Rice Bowl website contains digital resources to help guide your community through the Lenten season. Digital lesson guides for all grade levels, videos, prayer services and more are all available in English and Spanish. Visit http://www.crsricebowl.org or http://www.crsplatodearroz.org to see the collection of 2022 resources.

If you have any questions about CRS Rice Bowl, please contact me at jhoffacker@archatl.com or 404-920-7898.
