CRS Rice Bowl 2022 – Parish coordinators needed

  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Clergy and religious, directors of Faith Formation, social action ministers, campus ministers
From: Jayna Hoffacker, associate director, Justice and Peace Ministries

There are a great number of resources available for parishes to engage fully with CRS Rice Bowl each Lent, but without someone to coordinate those efforts, it can be difficult to find the time to plan and take advantage of those resources.

A CRS Rice Bowl Coordinator can take the lead on planning and implementing a CRS Rice Bowl campaign that will help your parish community experience global solidarity in a new and lasting way. Coordinators can be a member of staff, a ministry leader or another volunteer who is passionate about the work of CRS and global solidarity.

If your parish has not yet identified a CRS Rice Bowl Coordinator, I encourage you to do so, whether your parish has a history of participating in the campaign or you are just starting out this year.

To let us know who your coordinator is or if you do not know if your parish has a coordinator, please contact me at jhoffacker@archatl.com or 404-920-7898.
