The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia is pleased to announce the recipients of the Catholic Emergency Response Fund. $242,000 was granted to 32 organizations to serve those in need throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta. These organizations are still receiving high volumes of requests for assistance due to the pandemic and these grants will make a difference for their clients.

The grants were determined by a special grants committee comprised of members of the Pastors Advisory Council and the Grants Committee and is chaired by Father Henry Atem, Pastor of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Priority was given to organizations who work to alleviate food insecurity and to organizations who work provide emergency financial assistance for housing and utilities, including Catholic organizations such as the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Catholic Charities.
