Through CRS Rice Bowl, we share the journey with members of our human family around the world, and commit our Lenten prayers, fasting and almsgiving to deepening our faith and serving those in need.
We know that many of you are making every attempt to avoid handing out physical materials in your communities. CRS Rice Bowl 2021 is offering a new online community giving platform to allow you to fundraise within your community without needing to gather anyone to distribute Rice Bowls or to conduct a count at the end of Lent. With this platform, you can customize your own parish or school page and allow your ministries, clubs and families form teams to track their Lenten almsgiving.
As always, the CRS Rice Bowl website contains digital resources to help guide your community through the Lenten season. Digital lesson guides for all grade levels, videos, prayer services and more are all available in English and Spanish. Visit http://www.crsricebowl.org or http://www.crsplatodearroz.org to see the new collection of 2021 resources.
Included with this memo you will find Archbishop Hartmayer’s CRS Rice Bowl 2021 endorsement letter in both English and Spanish. We invite you to share this letter with your parish or school community.
