Advocacy in 2021: Preparing for the Work Ahead
Thursday, December 10, 7 p.m.
Advocacy in 2021: Preparing for the Work Ahead will look at why we advocate, how we advocate and on what issues we advocate.
Our panelists will each offer an introduction to their role and advocacy within their organizations (USCCB, Catholic Relief Services and Georgia Catholic Conference). We will then discuss what the church teaches and the impact of advocacy, as well as practical recommendations for engaging in virtual advocacy. We will close with specific legislative priorities for 2021, paying particular attention to those of the state of Georgia, but also what we can look forward to on the national and global stage. There will also be time for Q&A.
This webinar is co-hosted by Justice and Peace Ministries and the Georgia Catholic Conference. This event is virtual and free to attend, but registration is required. Click here to register.
