COVID-19 and Missiondom – webinar by Sherry Weddell

  • Download PDF Version available for use with email and print distribution.

To: Parish catechetical leaders, principals, parish staff and all ministry leaders
From: Andy Lichtenwalner, Director, Office of Formation and Discipleship

Join Sherry Weddell, well-known speaker and author of the best-selling book, Forming Intentional Disciples: The Path to Knowing and Following Jesus, and creator of the Called & Gifted discernment process, for a 90-minute webinar presentation and discussion on parish ministry and the opportunity to move forward post COVID-19 in an evangelizing and mission-oriented way. Ministry leaders will be able to take away elements to take advantage of this challenging time to pause, pray, discern and respond to this moment with an eye to the Lord’s providence.

Sherry Weddell is co-founder and serves as Executive Director of the Catherine of Siena Institute, which trains parish and diocesan leaders at all levels in 21st century evangelization to effectively call Catholics to begin consciously following Jesus as his disciples in the midst of his Church and to create a normative culture of intentional discipleship at the parish level.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, November 18, at 10 a.m. All ministry leaders are welcome to attend, especially all parish catechetical leaders, other lay ministry leaders and whomever they designate/invite. The event is free of charge, but all attendees must register. After registration, attendees will receive a confirmation email with a personal access code. Please note that this event is distinct from the clergy study day for priests and deacons on Thursday, November 19.

Register now for the GoToWebinar at http://tiny.cc/sweddell.

Thank you, and God bless you!
