For more than 117 years, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul has empowered people, regardless of their background, race, ethnicity or faith, to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Last year, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia gave more than $19 million in support to more than 116,000 people, providing vital programs to feed, shelter, clothe and educate the poor with a spirit of compassion, respect and dignity. St. Vincent de Paul has been serving Georgia for more than 117 years.

Archdiocese Annual Second Collection
September 19 – 20, 2020
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul empowers people, regardless of their background, race, ethnicity or faith, to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Last year, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia gave more than $19 million in support to more than 116,000 people, providing vital programs to feed, shelter, clothe and educate the poor with a spirit of compassion, respect and dignity. St. Vincent de Paul has been serving Georgia for more than 116 years.
September 12-13
The annual second collection for St. Vincent de Paul Georgia will happen during all masses next weekend, September 19-20. This collection goes not only to helping people in our area, but also to families and individuals in need across the state. A large network of volunteers, community partners and a central support staff allows SVdP Georgia to provide life-changing programs and services, including direct aid assistance, Client Choice Food Pantries and support that helps clients move toward stability and self-sufficiency. With a commitment to compassion and respect, SVdP works tirelessly to help thousands of families and individuals in need.
Last year, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia delivered more than $19 million in financial, material, educational and spiritual support to more than 116,000 people. This support helps keep people in their homes, ensures that their utilities stay on and puts food on their tables. This special second collection helps St. Vincent de Paul continue this mission. Please be generous during this collection, and know that your donation goes directly to help families and individuals move from crisis to stability.

Today’s second collection is for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Georgia. Last year, with more than 5,000 volunteers and a dedicated central support staff, St. Vincent de Paul delivered hope and help over 116,000 people in need. This second collection is special because each dollar raised goes not only to helping people in our parish area but also to helping people in need across the state. Our gifts to this collection go directly to provide emergency shelter, food, clothing and educational resources to those experiencing hardship and crisis with the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency. We can, like Christ, serve the poorest of the poor among us through our wholehearted support of St. Vincent de Paul Georgia. Please be generous.
