From: Andy Lichtenwalner, Director, Office of Formation and Discipleship
Our second annual Safe Haven Sunday is quickly approaching on March 22. We encourage all parishes to participate in this important day to help educate and equip parents on how to protect their home from online dangers.
Homily videos by Bishop Joel Konzen, S.M., in English and by Bishop Ned Schlesinger in Spanish are available on the Safe Haven Sunday webpage. Flyers and TV banners are also available on the webpage to download and use for promotion at your parish.
Additionally, we encourage all parishes to promote the free resources that are available through the website cleanheart.online/archdiocese-atlanta and through the Safe Digital Family Challenge. Parents can text “SECURE” to 66866 to join the Safe Digital Family Challenge and receive seven (7) days of emailed tools and tips.
Please direct any questions you may have to Patrick Metts at pmetts@archatl.com or 404-920-7643.
Thank you in advance for supporting and participating in Safe Haven Sunday.
