Please place the following announcement in your parish bulletin:
Have you been thinking of filing for your citizenship? Now is the time! We know that the fees are going up soon, so make sure to get your application filed before they do! Come to Catholic Charities Atlanta on the second or fourth Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m. We will take the first 10 people who arrive and give them FREE help with filling out the citizenship application.
Location: 2305 Parklake Drive, Suite 150, Atlanta, GA 30345.
Make sure to bring all these things with you:
- Permanent resident card (Green Card)
- Driver’s license
- Social Security card
- All your passports
- Most Recent Federal Income Tax Returns
- List of home addresses for the past 5 years with dates
- List of employer names and addresses for the past 5 years with dates
- Proof of public benefits (food stamps or Medicaid)
- Dates you have been outside the US since becoming a permanent resident and the countries, you traveled to during these trips
- If married to a U.S. citizen/permanent resident, bring spouse’s green card/U.S. passport, marriage certificate, divorce decrees
- For your children: bring green card(s), complete name(s), dates of birth
- Certified final court disposition for any traffic tickets
