To: Pastors, priests, deacons, religious brothers and sisters, principals and parish staff
From: Andy Lichtenwalner, Director, Office of Formation and Discipleship
On March 22, 2020, we will observe the second annual Safe Haven Sunday as an archdiocese. Thank you in advance for participating in this important initiative for our families and especially for the sake of our children and youth.
A letter from Bishop Konzen, including a sample hard copy of the resource booklet for parents and guardians, entitled Confident, was mailed to pastors in December. Please find attached a copy of the order form to purchase the book and prayer card to provide to each family in your parishes. The book is $2 per copy, and the prayer cards are $15 per 100 cards.
The deadline to submit the order form is no later than Friday, February 14. Online ordering with a credit card can be done at the online store. Delivery of the books and prayer cards will be made in early March.
Additionally, parishes are highly encouraged to make available the free resources through the text-to-join campaign and website, www.cleanheart.online/archdiocese-atlanta.
For more information and additional resources, such as a homily video (coming soon), promotional flyers and bulletin and TV graphics, please visit our website. The resources will be updated periodically, so check back often.
Please direct any questions you may have to Patrick Metts at pmetts@archatl.com or 404-920-7643. Thank you!
