After many years of preparation and development, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Global Solidarity Ambassador Program. This program is designed to form and sustain ambassadors as they bring their passion for global solidarity to their parish, school, or university. It will offer leadership development, networking opportunities, and annual retreats.
If you are interested in serving as a Global Solidarity Ambassador, please be sure to join us on Sunday, May 19, for our launch event. We will offer an in depth look at the program, which is formed in great part through the resources and programming of Catholic Relief Services, and give participants an understanding of how they can share global solidarity with their communities.
We will gather for Mass at 12 noon on Sunday, May 19, at the archdiocesan Chancery, 2401 Lake Park Drive SE, Smyrna, GA 30080. A working lunch will follow, along with presentations and opportunities for sharing and questions. We will conclude at 5:00 p.m.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Jayna Hoffacker, Justice and Peace Ministries Program Coordinator, at jhoffacker@archatl.com or 404-920-7898.
