The Oblate School of Theology will host their 7th Annual International Retreat, presented by Fr. Ron Rolheiser, OMI, on February 16-20, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.
The retreat theme is “Prayer: Our Deepest Hunger.” Rev. Rolheiser, OMI is a member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and president of the Oblate School of Theology. He is a theologian, professor and award-winning author. His latest work is Wrestling with God: Finding Hope and Meaning in Our Daily Struggles to be Human.
The event will take place at the Oblate Renewal Center. The registration fee is $600 and includes all lectures, sessions, socials and meals. Those who register before August 31, 2019 will receive a 20% early bird discount. Lodging is separate and offered at $435.
Priests of the Archdiocese of Atlanta are required to make one retreat per year. It is our archdiocesan policy that the parish/ministry of the priest is responsible for the cost of this annual retreat. Currently, the annual allowance is $850. Costs beyond that amount are the responsibility of the individual priest.
