From: Sr. Catherine Marie, O.P., Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home
The Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne were founded in 1900 by Rose Hawthorne, daughter of the famed novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne. Our apostolate is to care for incurable cancer patients who cannot afford the care they need. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home here in Atlanta was founded seventy-six years ago.
Women who are interested in learning more about religious life and our apostolate as Hawthorne Dominican Sisters are invited to a Vocation Discernment Weekend October 19-21, 2018, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The weekend will consist of Masses, communal prayer, talks, visits with patients, opportunities to speak with the Sisters and discussion. The Home is located at 760 Pollard Boulevard, SW, Atlanta, GA 30315. Our number is 404-688-9515.
Please read the attached invitation letter. For more information or to RSVP, contact me at 845-745-1319 or vocationdirector@hawthorne-dominicans.org.
