In thanksgiving for our generous donors, the Catholic Foundation has established legacy societies (the Deo Gratias Society) to recognize and honor Catholics in our community. These donors – who are models of faith and commitment – have given or pledged lasting gifts to the Catholic community.
We honor these generous Catholics every year at a special Mass and luncheon with Archbishop Gregory. This year, the Mass and luncheon will be at the Cathedral of Christ the King on August 25.
The Deo Gratias Society was established to recognize individuals who have made a planned gift in their will or estate plan to the Catholic Foundation and any of its funds, a parish, Catholic school, Catholic organization or the archdiocese. This society includes donors who have given $5,000 or more during their lifetime to an existing fund or those that create a new fund. Deo Gratias means, “Thanks be to God” in Latin.
If you have a donor who has included your parish, school or ministry in their will and estate plans, please contact Juliet Greco at jgreco@cfnga.org or 404-497-9440 so we can invite them to be a part of this special annual event.
