To: Priests, Deacons, Brothers, Sisters, Principals, Parish and Chancery Staff
From: Wilton D. Gregory, Archbishop of Atlanta
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher (Kit) Parker as Executive Director of Stewardship and Development for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. A native of Savannah, Kit served for sixteen years as Director of Stewardship and Development in the Diocese of Syracuse and one year in the Diocese of St. Augustine. Prior to that, he enjoyed a long and productive career with the American Red Cross.
Kit comes to us with a deep understanding of stewardship as a Catholic way of life and a track record of success in helping to build up Church in partnership with pastors and parishes. He also brings experience in volunteer development, community engagement, fundraising and financial management.
We are blessed to welcome Kit and his wife, Debra, to our archdiocesan family. They are the parents of three children and have two grandchildren. Debra is a parish Business Manager in the Diocese of Syracuse.
