Catholic Foundation of North Georgia – New Bulletin Graphics and Updated June Bulletin Notes

To: Development Directors, Stewardship Directors and Bulletin Editors
From: Maureen Cully, Manager of Marketing and Communications, Catholic Foundation of North Georgia

The Catholic Foundation is a trusted partner of parishes, schools, ministries and non-profits in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

We would like to work with you to increase your parish endowment fund, and we would like to make it as easy as possible to do so. In the parish survey we conducted in the archdiocese, we found that of parishioners who were aware of the Foundation:

• 74% were not aware or unsure if the parish had an endowment fund
• 50% would be likely or very likely to contribute to the parish endowment fund if the parish had one

The bottom line is that if your parishioners know you have an endowment fund, they are likely to give to it. Your endowment fund is critical to ensuring the future of your parish.
Please see the attached bulletin notes for the month of June that focus on wills. You can use these to communicate how easy it is for your parishioners to leave the parish endowment fund in their will or estate plans.

We have also included a NEW graphic that you can insert in your bulletin about your endowment fund. It is the size of a business card, available in English and Spanish, so it does not take up much space, but could reap real returns. If you would like a customized business card with your parish logo, or if you need a larger size, please contact me at mcully@cfnga.org. Business card can be printed inexpensively and placed in the pews and parish front desk as a reminder of your fund.

If you have any questions regarding the bulletin notes, please email mcully@cfnga.org. For questions about your parish endowment fund or planned giving, please contact Juliet Greco at 404.497.9440 or jgreco@cfnga.org.
