Invitation for Altar Servers
Archbishop Gregory would like to invite children who serve at the altar in their parish to take part in the 2018 Eucharistic Congress. Parish altar servers are invited to vest in their parish vestments and take part in the Closing Mass of the Eucharistic Congress at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018. The servers will form part of the procession and be seated in a special area.
Please share this invitation with the Altar Server Coordinator from your parish. For more information, please contact Dr. Patricia DeJarnett, Office for Divine Worship at pdejarnett@archatl.com.

Our Middle School Youth Track at this year’s Eucharistic Congress will be on Saturday, June 2, 2018. This track is for parish groups of 6th, 7th and 8th grade youth. Advance registration for each parish group is required.
To participate, a parish leader should pre-register the group of middle school youth. Individual pre-registration will be available depending on the number of adult volunteers approved by the Child and Youth Protection Office. Starve Wars!
The Eucharistic Congress begins with a service event on Friday, June 1. We are seeking 650 volunteers of all ages to help pack 100,000 meals to go to the impoverished developing country of Burkina Faso in Africa. This is a collaborative effort between the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Justice and Peace Ministries, Catholic Relief Services, Helping Hands and the people of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Please help us promote STARVE Wars! at your parish.
Thank you for supporting the 2018 Eucharistic Congress, taking place June 1-2. For more information, please visit http://congress.archatl.com/.
