STARVE WARS, our annual meal packing event at the Eucharistic Congress, continues this year with Episode III. In honor of the upcoming Star Wars “holiday” on May 4, please help us get the word out about this fun and rewarding service event. Click here to download a marketing toolkit that includes flyers, graphics and other promotional materials.
Help us recruit 650 volunteers of all ages to pack 100,000 meals to go to the impoverished developing nation of Burkina Faso in West Africa. The event will take place Friday, June 1 at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park. There will be two sessions, 9:00-10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., both taking place in Hall A of the Convention Center. In order to be more inclusive, both sessions will have Spanish interpreters and the second session will accommodate those living with disabilities. Space is limited and registration is required to participate. To register online, click here.
STARVE WARS is a collaborative effort between the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Justice and Peace Ministries, Catholic Relief Services, Helping Hands, and the people of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
