Thank you for all of the hard work and efforts of our 66 participating parishes, Catholic schools and non-profits/ministries and all those that “gave Catholic” on November 28, 2017 for Giving Tuesday!
We exceeded our $200,000 goal with 2,245 online gifts totaling $292,115!
Highlights:
• St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville received the highest number of donations (292 gifts) out of the 17 dioceses across the United States and raised the most dollars ($40,003).
• St. Pius X Catholic High School was our top school, raising $27,178 with 140 gifts. They were the third highest ranking school across all 17 dioceses nationwide and received two matching gifts which were critical in helping them to reach their goals.
• The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was the top non-profit/ministry, raising $15,775 with 43 gifts (an average of $367).
• 13 locations received an average gift of over $150 – Georgia Tech Catholic Center, Pope Francis Hispanic Scholarship Fund, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Francis of Assisi (Cartersville), St. George (Newnan), St. Joseph (Marietta), St. Peter’s (LaGrange), St. Stephen the Martyr (Lilburn), Cristo Rey High School, Holy Spirit Prep, Marist School, Our Lady of the Assumption School and St. Pius X Catholic High School
